In the fall of 2022 I entered a global Fine Art Contest hosted by www.Art4Apes.com. The proceeds from this competition raised $10,000.00 and were used to fund the Center for Great Apes. This highly competitive exhibition featured over 500 artists from all around the world, and had a most prestigious panel or jurors: Bruce Helander (artist and entrepreneur), Ron Magill (Director of Miami-Dade Zoo), Frans de Waal (Dutch primatologist) and Philip Wollen (philanthropist and previous VP of Citibank).
I am proud to announce I was awarded 3rd Prize for my "Chimp" oil painting and will be featured in the Art4Apes online exhibition through December 17th.
As a result of this recognition, I have also been invited to share my artwork at National Primate Research Center in Wisconsin. The purpose of their listing is to promote primates in art and to provide a convenient source of information for those who wish to purchase or commission a piece of artwork. Please join me in supporting these worthwhile organizations in their quest to protect and defend endangered species around the world. 2025
February - Audubon Society in Sarasota has invited me to participate in their Nature Center Art display. This solo exhibition will be featured for the entire month of February and includes 22 of my original paintings and dozens of affordable giclee' reproductions. In addition to my art exhibition, this active Nature Center offers demonstrations, tours, lectures, bird identifying opportunities and access to the Celery Fields bird watching. This is a wonderful location for hiking and just enjoying the quiet unique outdoor area in our little piece of paradise. Hope you have the chance to come by and enjoy my art work.
March - My newest painting "Headed South" has been accepted in the juried exposition at the Herrig Art Center. 
April - Featured artist at Island Gallery and Studios, a nonprofit artist owned gallery in downtown Bradenton.
